The Woodruff P.E. Center (WPEC) offers membership to all eligible faculty and staff employed by Emory University, Emory Healthcare, Oxford College of Emory University, Wesley Woods, Emory alumni/ae and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Current fees are listed below. Dependents, same sex domestic partners registered with the University and spouses of the above employees or alumni/ae are also eligible to join the WPEC. Please note: the office no longer accepts cash. We happily accept debit cards, checks and credit cards (Visa, MC and Discover).
Membership Office Hours:
Fall Semester Hours (August 24th - December 2nd, 2016): Monday through Thursday, 11:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; and Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The office will be closed on Monday, September 5th and Wednesday, November 23rd through Friday, November 25th.
The office will have abbreviated hours of 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 10th; on Tuesday, October 11th; on Monday, November 21st; and on Tuesday, November 22nd.
Refunds for facility membership will be given up to two weeks after purchase. There is a $15.00 processing fee. No refunds will be granted if employment is terminated, or if member is leaving Emory.
Annual membership: Members who wish to pay for the full year up front with check or credit (Visa, MasterCard or Discover) may visit the office during office hours to complete the application process and make their payment. These memberships are valid for one year from the date of purchase. If you would like to use a credit card online, please follow this link. Please note: Emory University does not accept American Express.
Payroll deduction: Emory University and Emory HealthCare employees may also choose the option of payroll deduction as their method of payment. Initiate the process by visiting the Member Services Office on level two of the WPEC. You will pay the first month up front with a check or major credit card (Visa, MasterCard or Discover); $18.00 deductions will come out of your monthly wages each month thereafter until you choose to cancel. Cancelation requests must be made in writing, with 30 days' notice. You may fill out a form at the membership office or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include your name, employee ID number and the date you would like the cancellation to take effect. Office staff cannot accept cancellation requests over the phone.

Spouses, Same-Sex Domestic Partners, and Dependents
Spouses of students, faculty, and staff are eligible for membership. Each must present photo identification with the same last name as the employee. If last names are different, other verification must be presented such as a marriage certificate, tax forms, etc. Same-sex Domestic Partners registered with the University are eligible.
Dependents under 26 years of age living in the same household and financially dependent on employee are eligible for membership.

Graduates of Emory University and Oxford College are eligible for membership. Alumni spouses and dependent children are eligible at the same rate as the affiliated alumna/alumnus. Each member is required to sign a waiver.
Administrators/managers of Bon Appetit, Barnes and Nobel Bookstore, Emory Mail and Copy Services (IKON) are eligible for membership. Affiliate spouses and dependents are not eligible. Affiliates may join in the Membership Office.
Rental lockers may be purchased by faculty, staff, students and alumni. Renters are responsible for cleaning out locker contents by the end of their rental agreement period. If renters fail to empty their lockers after receiving notice to do so by the appointed date, their items will be removed and donated to charity. A limited number of daily use lockers are available at no charge. You must furnish your own lock and contents must be removed daily. Emory University is not responsible for personal items, including items stored in lockers. Keys for daily-use lockers can be obtained in the equipment room. These lockers are free, available just for the day and located on the first floor.
Clean towels may be obtained from the Equipment Room in exchange for an EmoryCard.
